I know this is probably a dumb question but I’m new to TTRPGs and wondering what the 1d6 roll per threat that remains in the clearing is for? I understand most threats remain in the clearing, but what does the roll do?

Thank you for this game! I’m leaving out the part I didn’t understand and still having lots of fun.

Not at all! I am also new to generating games, so it's good to know what might be confusing. Here's an example:

You've dealt with many threats but you haven't managed to address the giant snake, plus there's still a herd of sheep trampling around, and also a bunch of animated vegetables. That's three threats that are still undefeated outside the cabin, so you would roll 3d6 if you ventured out and take 1 harm for every 1 you roll. It's meant to represent the increased level of danger (and possible damage) you would experience if you tried to run out for the axe when vegetables are flying around and sheep are trying to knock you down.  Does that make sense?

Ahh I see, yes that makes sense. Thank you for your reply!
